Lakala International approved as a Visa issuing member

In March, Lakala International officially became a licensed Visa card issuer. Eligible to issue Visa cards in Hong Kong SAR, it further provides diversified overseas payment products and services for outbound enterprises and cross-border merchants.

In November, Lakala became the first and exclusive acquiring institution cooperating with Visa on the "Visa Scan to Pay" solution in Mainland China. In February,Lakala partnered with Visa to pilot a Tap to Phone solution in China, providing mobile Visa card payment services for taxi drivers. In September, Lakala became the only SoftPOS payment security solution provider in China certified by Visa.

In September, Lakala's open platform was newly launched, collaborating with financial and SaaS institutions to build a digital service ecosystem for enterprises. It helps large and medium-sized enterprise users and industrial platform customers solve digital operation needs such as payment, fund management, and account management through standardized or customized solutions in a cost-effective manner.

Active Participation in Digital RMB Pilot Programs

In May, Lakala deeply participated in the "55 Shopping Festival" Digital RMB pilot activity in Shanghai. As a government-designated digital currency demonstration promotion institution, it upgraded merchant terminals and contributed to building Digital RMB acceptance environments, including "Lanxi Road Digital RMB Acceptance Demonstration Street" and Meichuan Road Pedestrian Street. In June, it deeply participated in the "Jingxi Strugglers Digital Carnival" Digital RMB pilot activity, upgrading Digital RMB devices for nearly a thousand merchants in Beijing, and undertaking the "Digital RMB Garden Party" event at Yuanmingyuan.
